I've been a little slack in posting recently, I'm hoping to change that. The "Future Ms." and I have started building a tiny home on wheels. The learning curve and construction has eaten up a lot of time but with winter almost here I'll have more time to post interesting articles and continue on the 2nd paper.
As for that 2nd paper it is moving along. It continues to grow in scope, but as 1 person I can only learn so fast. I've also begun to wonder if I should not increase the scope of the website itself. Reality does after all have more in it then the quantum soup.
Are there any other topics this growing community would like more information on?

I'm sure by now some of you have heard about the star "KIC 8462852" and it's very unusual dimming.

While the possibility exists that the dimming is caused by comets, or the material that forms planets, both are thought to be long shots, but another long shot possibility exists. There could be some form of alien technology around the star. Right now SETI's arrays are being directed toward the star to see if we can find some evidence of intelligent life.
"One of the premier telescope arrays in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, or SETI, is focusing its antennas on an anomalously blinking star, thanks in part to speculation that the star called KIC 8462852 could harbor a network of alien megastructures.
The Allen Telescope Array, a complex of 42 radio dishes in Northern California that was funded in part by Seattle billionaire Paul Allen, has been collecting data about the star since Thursday evening..."

I wouldn't get my hopes to high as through out history we've seen natural explanations for most everything we've thought was 'alien.' However it is always well to keep in mind this quote:
"Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth."

Either way the dice land, we're bound to learn something we didn't know before!
