Check out this video to see how cymatic frequencies, in the form of catchy music, produces amazing geometry! It make look fake, but these effects are real and reproducible. If you'd like to see behind the scenes, I suggest his website:

A wonderful new video from the World Science Festival was uploaded 2 days ago. Titled "Quantum Biology and the Hidden Nature of Nature." With Seth Lloyd, Thorsten Ritz and Paul Davis. If you've got an hour and a half, I highly suggest watching this video. Some of the topics covered include how birds use quantum mechanics for navigation, and how plants use it in photosynthesis. World Science Festival Quantum Biology and the Hidden Nature of Nature For those of you who home school, or just for those of you who like to self-teach themselves physics, I present Khan Academy.
A great website full of everything from Kindergarten math to Economics, World History and even test prep. The website feels 'light' and the free profile you can create earns points toward customization of your avatar with the more subjects you complete. I highly recommend this website! Science marches forward! Almost as if ripped right from Star Trek scientists have created a laser beam capable of controlling tiny .2 millimeter diameter particles. Progress has already been made on "tractor beams" but this achievement raises the bar on distance. This beam can interact with these particles about 100 times further then previously achieved, with a record breaking 20 centimeters. Straight from the man himself! Get all his lectures free online! Happy reading :-) http://www.feynmanlectures.caltech.edu/ http://sciencealert.com.au/news/20140109-26106.html
The Feynman Lectures on Physics have been made available as part of a collaboration between Caltech and The Feynman Lectures Website, and io9 reports they have been designed to be viewed, equations and all, on any device. Hello folks,
I found some time here at the beginning of our labor day weekend and got a good portion of the next paper for this site solidified. As the winter months approach I'll be able to find more and more time to sit down and write. I'm hoping I'll have a chapter or two ready to post before Halloween with the rest of it done and posted before Christmas. Hope all is well with you and yours, ~RH Hi readers, It's been awhile since my last post and wanted to touch base. This site is on the back burner, but it's not out of my mind. I've got less time these days to 'science' but I'm still piecing together the 2nd paper. Hopefully by the end of August I'll be able to commit more time to this. Read some more articles/papers on meditation and it's positive effects recently; if you haven't tried it yet I highly suggest it! From the article: The paper describes how meditation affects a subject’s ability to change brain activity in the posterior cingulate cortex (PCC). Given the chance to observe real-time feedback on their PCC activity, some meditators were even able to control the levels of activity there. “You can observe both of these phenomena together and discover how they are co-determining one another,” Santoyo said. “Within 10 one-minute sessions they [participants in a meditation study] were able to develop certain strategies to evoke a certain experience and use it to drive the signal.” http://themindunleashed.org/2014/07/neuroscience-student-shows-meditation-can-vanquish-mental-disorders.html And here is another paper in the journal of Psychoneuroendocrinology, on the changes meditation brings about from Feb 2014 titled "Rapid changes in histone deacetylases and inflammatory gene expression in expert meditators"
An article on Quantum Entanglement in large scale objects. Published in June of 2013. "The result shows that everyday objects are so constructed that their parts are entangled with each other, and are also entangled with most everything with which they have previously interacted. This is an interesting result, particularly for those who think of the Universe in holistic terms, but does this holism have any observable consequences? This is a very difficult question, to which we don't yet have a practical answer."
http://www.gizmag.com/quantum-entanglement-ubiquitous/27836/ I bet this one is going to be awesome. A very visual laden look at the size and makeup of atoms will be somewhere in there; here's a sneak peek of just 1 minute of it: http://www.cosmosontv.com/sneak-peek/221610051901
Sneak Peek: "Deeper Deeper Deeper Still" Watch as Neil deGrasse Tyson takes us to a place 100,000 times smaller than an atom -- its nucleus. |
